To ensure authenticity and quality, every stone is sold with a certificate, giving you complete confidence in your purchase.
Integrity is central to our sourcing practices. We maintain direct relationships with mines and gemstone cutters across Sri Lanka, regularly visiting regions such as Ratnapura, Elahera, Bakamuna, Kuruvita, Nivithigala, Kalawana and Beruwala. These visits allow us to oversee sourcing, maintain transparency and strengthen our ties with local mining communities.
By working closely with miners and minimising unnecessary middlemen, we ensure those dedicated to this craft are fairly recognised and fairly compensated. Ethical trade is not a slogan for us - it is a responsibility that shapes every aspect of our business.
Who We Are
Lotus Gems & Jewellery is operated by two partners, both holding Civil Engineering degrees from the University of Moratuwa. Together, we bring a wealth of expertise, including:
